Woolpower®
wool clothing, wool long underwear, and wool socks are
made exclusively of fine Merino wool with a
fiber diameter of 22 microns. Woolpower® has the highest
insulation level for protection from both heat and cold. Wool
clothing made of Woolpower® are not only warm but also
wick moisture from the skin and allow water vapor to pass through
the wool fiber – without losing their thermal properties.
Studies show that the wool fiber’s ability to absorb and
neutralize unpleasant odors is far superior to that of other textiles.

Creating the best wool clothing & socks
Wool terry cloth contains up to 80% air, which binds to the kinky
fiber. The air forms an insulating layer along the skin and prevents
heat from escaping. In addition, the air bound in the terry cloth
loops creates a double thermal effect. The material keeps your
body dry and retains its thermal properties even when damp.
Protective wool work clothing
 Flame/Arc Resistant Collection
Woolpower®'s fire protection, fire resistant wool work clothing series
has been developed to meet the criteria established by the European
work environment committees with regard to protective clothing for
industrial workers. Woolpower® meets the standard
of EN 531 A B2 C1. Code A indicates the garment's resistance to
open flame, code B its protection from convective heat and code
C its protection from radiated heat.
Quality wool and workmanship
Testing and Field Use
Woolpower® wool garments / clothing are tested regularly
by SINTEF of Norway, both in a laboratory environment and on test
groups ranging from forestry workers, fishermen, road workers and
drivers to the military and oil platform workers. In recent tests
conducted in Siberia by Russian and Germany Governments, Woolpower®
products have been rated for workers in conditions as low
as –76°F
Washability
Our wool socks, wool long underwear, and wool clothing are superwash-treated
at the mill to allow repeated machine washing of the garments
/ clothing in 140 °F without shrinking or losing their insulating
capacity. Woolpower® retains its excellent function
even after long use and when the opportunities for washing the
garment are limited.

Woolpower® 200 g/m2 (0.7 oz/sq.ft) is a series of garments
to be worn close to the body. A terry knit with a soft inner
surface of fine Merino wool, reinforced with polyamide for improved
durability. Seamless, tubular knit legs, sleeves and body for high
comfort clothing.
400 g/m2
Woolpower® 400 g/m2 (1.3 oz/sq.ft)can be worn against
the body or as supplementary garments over Woolpower® 200g/m2.
A terry knit with a soft inner surface of fine Merino wool, reinforced
with polyamide for improved durability. Seamless, tubular knit legs,
sleeves and body for high comfort clothing. Our customers love our
wool long underwear for play and work!
600 g/m2
The Woolpower® 600 g/m2 (2 oz/sq.ft) jacket can be worn
against the body or as a supplementary garment over Woolpower®
200 g/m2 and/or Woolpower® 400 g/m2. The jacket is made
of a terry knit with a soft inner surface of fine Merino wool, reinforced
with polyamide for improved durability. Seamless, tubular knit legs,
sleeves and body for high comfort clothing.
